Clear Communication & Miscommunication
Clear communication is necessary and can be learned.
Miscommunication is not necessary and can be corrected.
"The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
--George Bernard Shaw
You can increase the accuracy of communication by 25% to 75% just by verifying what the other person heard when you say something important.
If you and your organization applied just this one essential communication skill and avoided just one costly communication short-circuit, you would be more equipped than most of your competition.
How much return on investment do you think you would you get from applying this principle over and over?
For communication to be effective, it must be free of needless miscommunication. When individual or team communication is fragmented, ambiguous, contradictory or short-circuited in other ways, businesses lose money. When miscommunication occurs with your customer, the lifeline of your business is being needlessly drained.
Learn more about the hidden Cost of Miscommunication. When communication is short-circuited, it carries a high price; one you would probably not be willing to pay if it were in focus.
The Communication Cure
When the necessary communication skills are in place, you and your organization can communicate at multiple levels. You can then:
- Inspire others with your vision
- Be a dynamic presenter
- Influence others skillfully
- Enter into difficult conversations confidently

Effective communication can be learned in a variety of ways. Some combination of a skills assessment, coaching or training will give your organization the tools it needs.
Assessment: A 360 degree communication skills assessment, followed by a feedback session gives necessary feedback on where to focus efforts.
Coaching: Individual or group coaching ensures that skills are anchored for the long term.
Training: Training is recommended after an in-depth conversation establishes where and how it will be best utilized. Inquire about the following training.
Any of the above elements may be selected and adapted for the needs of your organization. to discuss which combination is best for your group.
